Affiliate & endorsement disclosure requirements
Every approved MoodifyPet affiliate, creator, or paid endorser agrees to comply with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) and any equivalent local rules. In practice that means:
- Disclose the material connection clearly and conspicuously in every post, video, story, live, email, or article that features MoodifyPet — for example
#ad,#sponsored, or "Paid partnership with MoodifyPet." Do not hide the disclosure behind "more," in a hashtag block, or only in a bio. - Only make claims that reflect your honest, personal experience. Do not claim benefits we don't publish (e.g. medical, veterinary, or "removes 100% of odor" claims).
- Do not post fake reviews, buy reviews, incentivize positive-only reviews, or suppress negative feedback. Fake or incentivized reviews violate the FTC's 2024 rule on fake reviews and can carry civil penalties per violation.
- Do not send unsolicited SMS or bulk email in MoodifyPet's name — all messaging must come through your own compliant, opt-in channels.
- Follow platform rules for paid partnership tags on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and any live-shopping platform you use.
MoodifyPet monitors partner content for FTC compliance. Repeated failure to disclose or the use of prohibited claims will result in immediate removal from the affiliate program and forfeiture of pending commissions.
